What is Gold Filled and Gold Vermeil?
Gold filled is a solid layer of gold bonded over a base metal.
Gold vermeil is a layer of gold plating over a base of sterling silver.
Both are a suitable and more affordable alternative to pure solid gold and if looked after can be treasured and worn for many years.
